I’m Stéphane Horta, a Strategic Marketing Advisor at BluMango, where I help shape high-impact strategies for modern businesses. With over 35 years of leadership experience in IT, software, and digital transformation, I bring a hands-on, results-driven approach to every project I support.

My career began in software development and evolved through roles in engineering, sales, and executive leadership. I spent decades at Allgeier AG, a major German tech firm, where I rose from developer to board member and CEO across several countries—including Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Cyprus, and Turkey. I specialized in turning local operations into growth engines, launching new divisions, and guiding large-scale transformations.

From 2014 to 2021, I was Group CEO and majority shareholder of iGuana, a leading provider of document management and digitization solutions. I led the company through a complete rebrand, several international acquisitions, and a pioneering integration of AI into our software platform—long before it became mainstream. By the time I sold iGuana in 2021, it had grown into a high-value business with €10 million in turnover and a global presence.

At BluMango, I now combine this experience with a passion for strategy, growth, and innovation. I advise on digital positioning, market expansion, and go-to-market strategy, helping businesses navigate change and seize new opportunities. I enjoy being part of a dynamic team that values creativity, technology, and speed.

I’m fluent in Dutch, French, German, and English, and I’m also a certified scuba diving instructor and lifelong explorer of AI and advanced mathematics. Whether I’m advising a startup or steering a strategy session, I bring clarity, insight, and an entrepreneurial mindset to everything I do.
