BluMango didn’t begin with a business plan or a pitch deck. It started with a spark, an idea that had been quietly forming in the mind of Daria Mavrenkova, a seasoned marketing expert with over 20 years of experience and a deep love for content, strategy, and storytelling.

After a decade of leading marketing for a Belgian tech company, Daria was ready to do things differently. She wanted freedom, not just to work for herself, but to create the kind of marketing agency she had always wished existed: smart, fast, creative, and deeply invested in its clients.

She had the skills to back it up. Daria holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing & International Business from the University of British Columbia (Canada), graduating in 2006 with honours. From writing to execution, Daria had long been the kind of marketer who could take an idea over coffee and turn it into results. No handholding. No waiting. Just impact. And that’s exactly how BluMango was born.

Why We Created BluMango

Modern marketing often hides behind buzzwords. Flashy one-liners, vague slogans, and strategy decks that say everything and nothing at once. Too many agencies don’t take the time to understand what a business does. They expect the client to write the content, explain their services, or provide endless input.

At BluMango, we flipped the model.

• An experienced creative advisor (and life partner) Stéphane Horta, who brings decades of strategic and entrepreneurial insight to the table.
• A hand-picked group of marketing freelancers who share our standards and our style.
• And of course, Mango Purrsuasion, our British Shorthair cat, Head of Purrblic Relations, and Master Influencer.

We work with clients across the globe, but we especially love those who want to move. BluMango is based in Belgium, yet our reach is international, and so is our mindset. We love working with businesses that aren’t afraid to be different, who want to build something meaningful and need a partner who can keep up.
